The Anthony DeMaria Labs (ADL) 1500 is a legendary dual-channel, all-tube optical compressor built in the tradition of classic vintage opto designs like the Teletronix LA-2A. Handcrafted in the USA with point-to-point wiring, high-grade transformers, and eight vacuum tubes running at high plate voltages, the ADL 1500 delivers the thick, silky warmth, effortless level control, and massive analog authority that defined high-end 1990s and 2000s vocal tracking and mix bus processing.
By packing two completely independent, tube-driven opto-compressors into a heavy-duty 2U rackmount chassis, the ADL 1500 gives engineers maximum flexibility. It can function as two isolated mono channels for tracking vocals, bass, or acoustic guitars, or operate in stereo-link mode to glue drum overheads, stereo submixes, or full master tracks together.
