Here we have an excellent condition C&C Maple/Gum shell drum set in a gorgeous Mahogany Gloss finish. Previously kept in the home, this beauty has minimal play time on it and doesn't even have any pedal rash on the bass drum hoops. The set features C&C's full contact bearing edges, stick saver hoops, and modern bass drum spurs.

The Maple/Gum shells are roughly 3/8" thick, and with the full contact edges, they deliver a full-bodied note with great articulation. We loved the effortless rebound in the medium and high tunings. The attack on these drums is round with incredible sustain and have a moderate decay. The toms do well in multiple tuning ranges with single or two ply heads. The bass drum has a great definition with the felt strip applied to the Ambassador logo head and can be breathy and wide open without the felt strip.

The Gladstone series features 7 plies of North American Rock Maple, our single-ended Deco Lug and proprietary Bread and Butter bearing edge. This edge allows for a more open and resonant tone. It also promotes more body than what is typical of a modern maple shell, making for a very musical and versatile sound.
