From Earthworks
Features
Flexible Gooseneck: The Periscope’s design makes low-profile instrument and choir miking easy by letting you aim the microphone’s capsule at the source while keeping the body inline with the stand
Flat Frequency Response with Exceptionally Low Noise: Enjoy studio-quality clarity and detail, capturing broadcast-grade sound whether the source is close-up or distant
Consistent Polar Response: Earthworks Gen 2 technology ensures that the supercardioid polar pattern is consistent across the entire frequency range, delivering natural, lifelike sound in the entire front hemisphere, with highly effective rejection of unwanted sounds across the rear
Enhanced Compatibility: Gen 2 circuitry reduces phantom power consumption and maximizes compatibility across all preamp and input types
Professional & Versatile: Equally at home in recording studios and critical live sound environments
