The Elliott Amplification Pine Top amp is based on the famous 5E3 circuit. At low volume, you will find a defined, clear tone that allows the true voice of your guitar to shine through. At higher volumes, you will quite possibly experience the tone of legends. Utilizing two 6V6 power tubes, one 12AY7 preamp tube, and one 12AX7 preamp tube, this classic circuit maintains its rich, harmonic composition. Tonal clarity is delivered to the room by a Celestion Alnico Gold 50 Watt speaker.
The Pine Top features two normal channel inputs and two bright channel inputs, each with their own independent volume controls. A single tone control allows shaping of the overall voice of the amp. The tone control can also allow only the voice of the power stage to be heard when dimed out. The normal and bright channels can also be joined together and blended for a new range of tonal options. In addition to the hand selected speaker, capacitors, and resistors, our proprietary custom-wound Power and Output Transformers provide all of our amplifiers a true voice that you will feel with every note.
