Handcrafted by luthier Ben Fargen, the Fargen Blackbird Combo is a boutique 20-watt tube amplifier designed to deliver quintessential mid-60s Blackface American cleans with enhanced tonal fullness and modern refinement. Powered by two 6V6 power tubes, a 5AR4 rectifier, and a tube-driven spring reverb circuit utilizing two 12AX7 and two 12AT7 preamp tubes, it delivers lush dynamic headroom, glassy highs, and sweet, natural tube compression. It comes loaded with a single 12" Eminence Patriot Cannabis Rex speaker, which tames harsh high-end spikes while adding warm, full-bodied low-end and smooth midrange response. Housed in a compact enclosure measuring 20" x 19.5" x 10" and weighing 41 lbs, it features a streamlined control panel with Volume, Reverb, Treble, Mid, and Bass controls for instant, intuitive tone shaping.
