Finished in an Aged Black relic lacquer finish, this Fender Custom Shop '58 Precision Bass delivers authentic late-1950s golden-era bass tone and vintage aesthetic appeal. Weighing 9 pounds 4 ounces, it pairs a classic alder body (carved to '59 P-Bass specifications) with a comfortable 1-piece maple neck featuring a period-correct '57 Bass Soft "V" profile and 20 frets over a genuine bone nut.
The heart of its thump comes from a Hand-Wound '57 P-Bass split-coil pickup, anchored by a relic'd P/J bass bridge and controlled via knurled chrome volume and tone knobs set against an anodized gold aluminum pickguard. Special Custom Shop details include an engraved Limited Edition chrome relic neck plate and an included deluxe hardshell case.
