Sound Pure's Take

As iconic as the instruments that have inspired it, this S-style is lean, mean, and WILL haunt your dreams.  With that wonderfully aged black finish, this beast is just missing the smell of cigarettes and cheap beer (well, maybe we don't miss that) to fool anyone who picks it up into thinking it's as old as it looks, feels, and sounds.  Dynamite!

Mario S-Style Black SSS Electric - Quick 'n' Dirty

Also in this recording Carr Amplifiers Telstar 1x12 Combo Amp, Black

In this video, Sound Pure Guitar specialist Eddie Berman plays a Mario Guitars S-Style Black SSS Electric #120487, with a Black Carr Amplifiers Telstar 1x12 Combo Amp.

From Mario Guitars

When the S-style was first released in late 1950s, it was designed with comfort in mind.  The T-style had already been released and many people complained of the discomfort it presented with its hard round overs and slab body.  Thus, the S-style with its contours and curves came to the rescue!

Since then, the S-style has become an American icon. Possibly one of the most recognizable electric guitar shapes, S-styles have graced the shoulders of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and many, many more!
