On May 21, 2009 The Beast joined Grammy nominee Nnenna Freelon for a charity event in support of the Durham Arts Council at Sound Pure Studios. Following an interactive recording demonstration, The Beast capped off the evening with a performance for the attendees in which they premiered two original songs, including this one entitled Catalyst.
