Combining rich, shimmering 12-string resonance with articulate dynamic range, the Taylor 456ce pairs a solid spruce top with solid ovangkol back and sides in a bold Grand Symphony cutaway body. Built with traditional X-bracing, its mahogany neck carries a dark ebony fingerboard decorated with elegant mother-of-pearl inlays, leading to a peghead crowned with a rosewood overlay. Plugged-in performance is powered by Taylor’s Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics for authentic acoustic translation on stage or in the studio. Tipping the scales at 5 lbs 8 oz, this versatile 12-string acoustic-electric comes complete with a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.
