The ThorpyFX Fat General Compressor is designed to add sustain, balance, and body while preserving the natural feel of your playing. Whether you're looking to even out delicate fingerpicking, add consistency to punchy rhythm parts, or bring a little extra sustain to soaring lead lines, the Fat General helps your guitar feel more responsive and polished. Its high-impedance 10M input preserves the character of your pickups, while the 39K output impedance makes it an easy fit for a variety of signal chains. With a compact footprint measuring just 65mm wide, it fits comfortably on crowded pedalboards without sacrificing performance. Drawing only 35mA of current, it's an efficient addition to your setup. For players who appreciate compression that enhances rather than overwhelms their natural touch, the Fat General is a compelling choice!
