A no bells, no whistles, straight forward, high-end single channel raw preamplifier from Avalon. This box is very clean, and quite is transparent. Unfortunately, due to the introduction of the sonically superior Avalon AD2022, most people are saving their money for that stereo preamp. But for those of you looking for an extremely high quality, clean single-channel preamp for around a grand, this is still one of the best choices!
